As a CNC Machinist, you will perform complex setups, edits, and operate established and new product introduction (NPI) jobs with minimal supervision. Your work will ensure parts conform to specifications and requirements, making modifications or adjustments as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Verify dimensions using standard measuring instruments, such as micrometers, depth gage, height gage, and vernier.
• Read and interpret blueprints and operations sheets.
• Collaborate with the engineering department regarding material conditions, best positioning of parts, tool pressure, and other requirements.
• Detect faulty operations and materials, and report these along with other problems to the immediate supervisor.

• Proficiency in CNC machining and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Experience in machine operating and CNC machine operation.
• Strong mathematical skills and knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls and willingness to cross-train on various operations/equipment.
• Experience in machining within an aerospace environment, specifically 3-5 years.
• Three or more years of experience setting up and operating CNC Devlieg Milling Machines.

• Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Willingness to learn basic CNC programming.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
