Job Description:
As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs used in the manufacturing of precision components for aircraft electrical systems. You will collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure high-quality, efficient machining processes that meet aerospace standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and modify CNC programs using G-code, M-code, and CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, CATIA, or Siemens NX).
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to create accurate machining instructions.
Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and cutting parameters for various materials including aluminum, stainless steel, and composites.
Conduct test runs and validate programs to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC programming, tooling, and machine performance.
Top Skills Details
Experience with 5-axis machining and multi-axis programming.
Familiarity with Safran’s product lines such as GENeUS™ generators or ENGINeUS™ motors.
Understanding of electrical component housings and harsh environment machining requirements.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree or technical certification in CNC machining, manufacturing technology, or related field.
3+ years of experience in CNC programming in a precision manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in CAM software and understanding of CNC machine operations.
Strong knowledge of GD&T, tooling, and machining processes.
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
Environment:
Clean, Climate Controlled Aviation Facility
Pay:
$35-38/hr Depending on experience & interview.
Shift:
Mon-Thur, (5am-3:30pm) Overtime available on Fridays

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
