Aerospace Production AssociateLocation: Marysville, WA
Pay: $20-23/hr, depending on experience
Shifts:
- 1st Shift: 5 AM - 1:30 PM, or 4 AM - 12:30 PM, or 6 AM - 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 12 PM - 8:30 PM, or 2 PM - 11:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 8 PM - 4:30 AM
- Weekend Shift: 6 AM - 6:30 PM
Job Description
As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for handling and processing composite materials to create high-quality panel constructions. You will ensure that materials are acclimated, cut, laid up, and pressed according to specifications, while actively participating in operational improvements and cross-training in other departments. Responsibilities
- Pull materials from cold storage, allowing them to acclimate as per specifications.
- Cut materials to the correct size in accordance with work orders.
- Lay up cut materials into panel constructions as per work orders.
- Transfer panel constructions into the platen press adjusted to correct temperature specifications.
- Operate the press to perform the burp cycle for optimum removal of volatiles.
- Remove cured panel constructions from the platen press as per specified time.
- Record press processing information on work orders to ensure traceability of panels.
- Trim panels on CNC machines to dimensions specified in work orders.
- Palletize completed panels for shipping.
- Maintain storage conditions for temperature-sensitive materials.
- Actively participate in operational improvement activities.
- Willingness to cross-train or transfer to other departments as needed.
- Flexibility to perform other tasks as required.
- Willingness to work overtime, including weekends.
Essential Skills- Experience in production line and operation of production equipment.
- Knowledge of machine safety and composite manufacturing.
- Proficiency in composite material handling and production assembly.
- Ability to operate machinery and perform trim work.
- General labor and assembly skills.
