Job Title: Conformal Coating AssemblerJob Description
Join a leading organization that supports various branches of the U.S. military and international customers through innovative defense and technology solutions. As a Conformal Coating Assembler, you will play a crucial role in applying protective coatings to circuit boards and assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Apply coatings to circuit boards and assemblies for protection.
- Read and interpret prints, labeling diagrams, and mixing ratios to ensure accurate application.
- Operate various dispensing and PVA coating machines to meet customer specifications.
- Mask and tape designated areas to prevent unwanted coating application.
- Inspect assemblies to ensure uniform coating coverage and make necessary touch-ups.
- Maintain and clean coating machines, including fluid changes, mixer replacements, and general upkeep.
- Remove excess coating and manually touch up areas missed by the coating machine.
- Transport circuit board racks to different manufacturing stations.
- Replenish chemicals, solvents, and process fluids as needed, including dispensing into secondary containers.
- Apply potting, bonding, lubricants, spray coats, or insulated tape as required.
Essential Skills- Ability to read and interpret technical prints and specifications.
- Strong computer literacy for documentation and machine operation.
- Knowledge of various coating materials and their applications.
- High attention to detail and ability to perform precision touch-ups.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
- Experience with electronic assembly and soldering.
- Use of hand tools and microscopes for detailed work.
- Capability in small parts work, such as watchmaking or jewelry repair.

Work Environment
Experience a large, safety-conscious manufacturing facility in Oldsmar, with well-spaced workstations in a climate-controlled environment. The facility operates two shifts: 1st shift runs from 5am to 3:30pm, Monday through Thursday with Fridays off, and 2nd shift runs from 3:30pm to 2am, Monday through Thursday with Fridays off.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
