Position OverviewPDS Tech Commercial is seeking an Operational Quality Technician to support warehouse and distribution center quality operations in Oklahoma City. This hands‑on role ensures incoming and outgoing materials meet defined quality and technical standards while supporting corrective actions, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will thrive in an operational warehouse environment, work closely with logistics and hourly teams, and contribute to maintaining high quality standards across materials and processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform incoming and outgoing material inspections within the distribution center
Identify, document, and issue non‑conformities for materials not meeting quality or technical requirements
Support containment actions and follow‑up activities using structured problem‑solving methods (e.g., 8D)
Maintain accurate inspection records and update quality systems and databases
Assist with inventory control and manage the quality quarantine area
Coordinate with warehouse operations, supplier quality, repair centers, and logistics teams
Handle and move materials in compliance with safety and quality requirements
Identify and report potential health, safety, and environmental (HSE) risks during daily activities
Provide general operational quality support to cross‑functional teams as needed
Required QualificationsEducation & Training
Technical or associate degree in quality, mechanical, electrical, industrial, or related field
Equivalent professional experience will be considered
Experience & Skills
3–5 years of experience in quality inspection, warehouse operations, logistics, or manufacturing/service environments
Experience working in a distribution center or warehouse strongly preferred
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and inspection criteria
Familiarity with material handling, inventory control, and basic inspection practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; SAP experience is a plus
Knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001) is beneficial
Communication
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Ability to work effectively with hourly personnel, supervisors, and support teams

Pay Details: $24.20 per hour
