Delta Air Lines is seeking an Enterprise Architect to support Delta’s Customer Data Platform program. In this role, you will play a critical role in realizing our vision for personalized, data-driven customer experiences across Delta’s digital and spaneting channels. In this position, you will lead the technical strategy and architecture for AEP implementation across the enterprise, ensuring seamless integration, governance, and optimization of Adobe Experience Cloud products. This role requires deep expertise in Adobe Experience Cloud products, as well as a drive to learn and optimize how these tools integrate with both Adobe-enabled and non-Adobe systems such as Salesforce, Twilio, and custom-built Delta platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical direction for Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) implementation, ensuring alignment with business needs and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural solutions.
- Lead systems integration planning, ensuring seamless connectivity between inbound/outbound channels (including APIs, middleware, and iPaaS).
- Create, own, and maintain technical documentation including enterprise architecture (EATSD), system runbooks, and integration blueprints.
- Configure Real-Time Customer Data Platform (RTCDP) segments, data destinations, and manage AEP permissions (RBAC, ABAC, DULE).
- Ensure the feasibility of business use cases from a technology perspective, providing innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Develop and maintain governance structures for audience segmentation and data management, ensuring data is optimized for activation and personalization.
- Partner with Data Product Managers and Product Managers to support data ingestion, audience creation, and activation across Adobe Target, Journey Optimizer, and other Adobe products.
- Oversee the architecture and integration of Adobe web and mobile SDKs for performance optimization and maximum output.
- Conduct discovery sessions, document technical requirements, and provide strategic oversight for AEP projects.
- Provide thought leadership to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, articulating solution capabilities and industry best practices.
- Train and mentor team members, ensuring a strong internal knowledge base and supporting risk mitigation in delivery.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
3+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Cloud products (Adobe Analytics, Target, RTCDP, Journey Optimizer, Audience Manager).
Strong experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) architecture, implementation, and integrations.
Proven expertise in data governance, segmentation, and audience management within AEP.
Strong knowledge of systems integration planning, APIs, and middleware technologies.
Experience leading enterprise-level technical projects and implementing omnichannel digital strategies.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value for non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with Adobe SDKs for web and mobile application integration.
Ability to create technical documentation such as architecture blueprints, solution designs, and runbooks.
Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Adobe certifications in Adobe Experience Cloud products (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, RTCDP).
- Experience in the airline or travel industry, with a strong understanding of omnichannel customer journey orchestration.
- Familiarity with customer journey analytics and campaign execution using Adobe Journey Optimizer.
- Experience working in a data-driven environment with a focus on personalization and targeting.
- Experience providing thought leadership and strategic oversight in a consulting or enterprise architecture role.
- Familiarity with digital spaneting strategies and optimization of Adobe Experience Cloud products based on industry best practices.
