Job Description:
As Reliability and system safety engineer you will be part of a multinational team in charge of developing an advanced superconducting and cryogenic powetrain to enable high power electric propulsion systems for aircraft application.
It will be composed of a cryogenic DC/DC converter, a superconducting DC network with protections, a cryogenic motor drive, a superconducting electric motor and a cryogenic cooling system developed with partners from worldwide industry and academia, start-ups in a dynamic and emulating environment.
This position is based in Toulouse and it comes with a limited contract (CDI-C) till the end of December 2026, the deadline of the demonstrator.
Main Mission
As a safety and reliability engineer, you will be the link between the aircraft team and the test team.
Responsibilities:
You will be there to perform those kind of activities:
Adapt electrical propulsion system FHA including aircraft dependencies in accordance with AIRBUS AC safety and Zero Emission architect team.
Share safety requirements on all CRYOPROP components.
Built complete PSSA of the CRYOPROP system and present it to ZE specialists.
Support safety review discussion with internal certification team and EASA.
Support PRA discussion with PRA owners.
Follow reliability tests partners.
Specify reliability test objectives and test means definition.

What you bring
Significant experience in airborne system safety ideally AIRBUS methodology
Experience in particular risk assessment is a plus
RAMS experience is a plus
Rigorous
Being able to communicate and exchange with experts in domain
