Role Summary:
The incumbent is responsible for providing safe, quality and on-time fueling services to Air North for Air North, Yukon’s Airline and customers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Quality Control inspection and testing of refueling trucks, and jet fuel
- Operate airside fuel trucks and fuel pumping systems to receive, transfer, dispense, and handle jet fuel into tanks, trucks, planes, helicopters, drums, and airside equipment
- Fuel aircraft in proper sequence to ensure on-time departures
- Receive fuel deliveries and perform all quality control tests on all fuel truck and tank farm products
- Pre-trip inspections of equipment prior to use, and post trip inspections of equipment after use
Must haves:
- Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in aviation fueling is considered an asset
- Class 1, 2 or 3 Driver’s License with air brake endorsement
- A strong sense of accountability, honesty, and responsibility in all tasks, supporting the trust that we have built with passengers, partners, and communities
- Enthusiasm for contributing to our unique mission, whether that’s through direct customer service, operational excellence, or behind-the-scenes support
- Must be a legally entitled to work in Canada
Nice to haves:
- Previous experience in aviation fueling is considered an asset
