Position Summary
The Cybersecurity Architect, Workforce & Airport Endpoint Systems is responsible for developing, documenting, and promoting information security architectural standards across JetBlue’s IT ecosystem. This role involves guiding project teams in embedding robust security controls into systems in development and supporting system engineers in maintaining effective security measures for production systems. The Architect also spearheads the implementation and adoption of critical security tools.
Essential Responsibilities
Endpoint Security Management:
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Intune, including Windows Policy Management (GPO), SCCM, Windows Autopilot, Compliance and Configuration Profiles, Security Baselines, and Application Deployment methods.
- Proficiency with Citrix and other virtualization technologies (e.g., Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365; Citrix Virtual Applications and Desktops), covering both cloud-based and on-premises environments.
Device Security and Management:
- Skilled in the secure management of laptops and mobile devices used for business applications.
- Ensure robust security posture for both managed and unmanaged endpoint devices, implementing Conditional Access policies and endpoint protection tools.
Systems Engineering and Architecture:
- Design and implement comprehensive endpoint solutions as part of JetBlues security architecture.
- Apply deep technical expertise in information systems, network protocols, and application platforms, including experience with user data migration and data management practices.
Application Deployment and Scripting:
- Proficient in application deployment technologies and industry best practices.
- Basic knowledge of scripting with PowerShell, WMI Queries, and related technologies to support automation and system configuration.
Security Systems Design and Threat Management:
- Design, build, and implement enterprise-class security systems for production environments.
- Identify and address current and emerging security threats, designing security architecture elements to establish a threat-informed defense strategy.
Security Analysis and Risk Assessment:
- Conduct system security and vulnerability analyses, performing risk assessments, studying architecture/platform, identifying integration issues, and preparing cost estimates.
- Continuously monitor the security environment, identify and address security gaps, and implement necessary enhancements.
- Developing and deploying policies and standards
Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare system security reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
- Participate in IT Project Management activities and contribute to the IT Architectural Review Board to align JetBlue’s technology direction with security requirements.
Other Responsibilities:
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned to support the cybersecurity function.
