If you are selected to move forward, the SAS Pilot Recruitment process consists of the following steps:
CV Screening – We review your qualifications, licenses, and flying experience.
Online Interview – A live interview with one of our recruiters.
Online Tests – Cognitive and personality assessments.
Assessment Day –A simulator session, and a personal interview.
Final Checks – Background screening, personal security interview, Right to Live and Work check, and drug & alcohol testing.
Please note: Each step in the recruitment process may be disqualifying.
Candidates who are successful in the initial screening can expect to be invited for assessment during March & April 2026, with employment expected from May 2026 onwards, with courses planned throughout 2026.
Application Period
We review applications continuously and may close the ad at short notice. We recommend applying as soon as possible and no later 5th April 2026
Reapplying
If you have applied before and were not invited to an assessment, you are welcome to apply again. If you have previously attended an assessment but were not successful, you are welcome to reapply after 12 months.
