AIRBUS offer more than 60 vacancies for our full-time graduate program in Spain - DISCOVER II 2025/2026 - Starting date October 1st 2025.

We are looking for recent graduates from different disciplines interested in developing their professional career in the aeronautical sector. The current context demands different ways of looking, thinking and relating.

What does this internship consists in?
Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed an exclusive program (DISCOVER) designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.
You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to DISCOVER the skills most in demand today. It will be combined with an 11 month internship at Airbus in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background.

The start of the internship will be in early October 2025, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.

Internship Job Description:
In this internship you would be part of the Spanish Public Affairs team, which serves as an interface between Airbus and the Spanish public administration, including central, regional and local governments and manages the strategic relationship between both parties.

This opportunity would let you work on the most up-to date and exciting topics,
including:
- Airbus plans to shape the future of aerospace, including new aircraft projects and breakthrough technologies. Public funding initiatives which make this future possible, including public-private collaboration.
- Defence programmes and its benefit for Spain and Europe to guarantee its security and sovereignty.
- Sustainability and the decarbonization of aviation.
- EU and national regulations and its impact on aerospace.

- Trade, tariffs and other transversal matters, in coordination with Airbus international entities.

As such, your main tasks will be supporting the projects mentioned above including:
- Keep track about current aerospace and geopolitical trends, prepare and present reports about them to the Public Affairs and Airbus teams.
- Update Airbus Spain corporate presentation and statistics, tailoring its messages to the different stakeholders depending on the audience.
- Participate in different conferences, seminars and events.
- Support institutional visits to Airbus sites.
- Coordinate, prepare and support the preparation of different briefings and reports for both internal and external stakeholders, including top management and high level politicians.

Main knowledge to be acquired during this internship includes:
- Having a broad view on all company matters and developing a strategic vision from various internal and external points of views. Understanding the different needs of the stakeholders on the abovementioned matters.
- Understanding the operational, business and political points of view.
- Tailoring messages to different audiences.
- Working on a multi-national company and also within the local environment, including public officials and politicians.
- Managing strategic matters, prioritizing and also working under pressure and with time constraints on an occasional basis.

- G Suite (mail, chat, calendar, meet, docs, sheets, slides)
- Microsoft Office (word, powerpoint, excel)

As a successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Degree in Engineering, MBA, Business Administration, Political Science, International Relations
- English: negotiation level
- Spanish: negotiation level
- Able to summarize and prepare written reports.
- Commitment and ale to manage confidential information.
- Presentation Skills.
