🔧 Diesel Mechanic / Ground Support Equipment Mechanic

Location: Denver International Airport (DEN)

Pay: $31–$35/hour (Based on Experience)

Shifts Available:

• Tuesday–Saturday
• Sunday–Thursday

Shift Options:

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• Note: Must be open to working holidays

Do you enjoy solving problems and keeping critical equipment in top shape? At one of the busiest airports in the world, your expertise will help keep things moving — from baggage carts to aircraft tugs.

• Maintain and repair diesel engines and ground support equipment (GSE)
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance
• Replace or repair components like engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
• Keep accurate maintenance records
• Collaborate with a safety-focused, supportive team

• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and GSE systems
• Hands-on experience with diagnostics and repairs
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment (must bring your own tools)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic or similar role
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment

Approximately 30 of your time will be spent outdoors — be ready for Colorado’s dynamic weather and a rewarding, hands-on workday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $35.00/hr.
