Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a E-2D Powerplant, Field Support Representative (FSR) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our organization. This role is located in Patuxent River, MD.
Job Duties
- Performs a variety of maintenance, modifications, and technical support on E-2D Powerplant systems, equipment, integrated systems, and subsystems, at various customer and/or field locations.
- Supports testing, exercises, and operations at CONUS and possible OCONUS locations.
- Extensive knowledge of diagnoses and repair of the E-2D Powerplant system
- Ability to perform removals and installations of upgraded system components as directed by NGC and ITT engineering.
Basic Qualification for Technician Level 4:
- An associate’s degree in an appropriate technical discipline and four (4) years of E2D Powerplant specialized experience or High School diploma and six (6) years of E2D Powerplant specialized experience.
- Previous E2D Field Support / Technical Representative powerplant experience
- Must be a US Citizen and ability to acquire a DoD Secret Clearance. Interim clearance required to start.
- Must be willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
