In the role of Electrical Repair Station Technician 3 youll play a pivotal part on our Repair Station team.
The Repair Technician provides service and repair of mechanical, electronic and hydraulic equipment in accordance with the current technical data. It requires technical knowledge, expertise, effective diagnostic, repair and testing techniques related to a wide variety of equipment.
This position contributes to our vision by::
• Performs skilled technician work that involves diagnosis, replacement, cleaning, repair and rebuilding a variety of equipment, components and/or systems.
• Uses diagnostic and test equipment and a variety of tools specific to the trade.
• Applies principles and practices of electrical and electronics theory.
• Interprets and follows technical manuals, blueprints, mechanical drawings, schematics, Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices.
• Makes computer entries and completes various types of paperwork maintenance documents in accordance with FAA Regulations and company policies.
• Follows industry/government specific guidelines, particularly as they relate to safety, health and environmental practices.
• Assists with research and development of new repair capabilities; this will include reading and understanding new manuals and may include on and off site training.
• Assists with the maintenance of shop equipment and supplies.
• Maintains on organized workstation and shopfloor in accordance with 5S standards in place.

Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or 2-year technical degree (preferred)
Experience: 5+ years.
Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Other Skills:
•\tExcellent electro-mechanical assembly and troubleshooting skills.
•\tStrong attention to details and work in a fast-paced department
•\tAbility to handle stress diplomatically.
•\tAbility to communicate clearly in English language.
•\tStrong knowledge of Aviation Maintenance.
•\tAbility to use common hand tools and precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, depth gauges, flow meters, pressure gauges.
•\tAbility to use electrical measuring equipment such as multimeters, temperature gauges
•\tAbility to safely operate electrical equipment (power supplies) in accordance with company policies
•\tCrimping and Soldering Skills
•\tAbility to read and interpret component maintenance manuals and drawings in order to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions.
•\tAbility to train other repair technicians
Preferred Skills (not required):
•\t2-year technical degree
•\tExperience working in a repair station
Description: Senior-level position with job field.
The expected salary range for this position is between $44,700 - $70,250 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
