Responsibilities
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
This is a critical role in the construction of advanced aircraft. Ensuring that vital electrical systems are installed and maintained to the highest standards of safety and precision.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manufacture of aircraft electrical cable assemblies and panels.
- Installation of electrical harnesses into aircraft structures.
- Use of automatic test equipment.
- Interpretation of electrical drawings.
- Working flexibly in groups.
Qualifications
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that sufficient detail is provided on the application form to demonstrate how the applicant meets essential job criteria, as this alone will be used for vetting purposes.
Essential
- A recognised electrical apprenticeship and electrical experience in a relevant industry, eg Aerospace, automotive etc
- The ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and EPR’s.
- Be able to competently use specialised tools and electrical test equipment.
Desirable
- Possess a strong understanding of aircraft electrical and avionics systems
