We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell MV-75 Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bells High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation aircraft.
Test and Evaluation Technical Computing (LabVIEW Developer)
Bring your experience and ideas and help us support the structural and drive systems test environments at Bell. The Technical Computing teams at Bell is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the Data Acquisition and Processing Systems required for structural test and fatigue test activities for civil and military programs. Working alongside likeminded talent, you’ll be able to hone your technical abilities on engineering problems, gaining experience in leadership and communication while playing a significant role in propelling Bell forward as the leading edge in innovative future product development.
What you’ll be doing as a LabVIEW Developer
- Collaborate with senior LabVIEW developers to support test objectives
- Develop, document, and implement LabVIEW software to support the data acquisition and control systems used to test aircraft gearboxes , drive systems, and/or perform structural tests on components.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians on debugging software, as well as the design, fabrication, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the data acquisition systems.
- Support for the Drive Systems Test Lab in Grand Prairie, TX and/or the Structural Test Lab in Hurst, TX
- Provide accurate project status reporting and technical documentation, including operational procedures, verification procedures.
