Position SummaryAccountable in ensuring effective implementation of the real-time operational control and management of the Fireflys flight operations in relation to crew tracking and control.
Key Accountabilities- Support and uphold all safety and security policies and procedures in alignment with Flight Operations objectives.
- Contribute to achieving the Company’s On-Time Performance (OTP) targets by closely monitoring operations and coordinating prompt corrective actions with relevant departments to exceed corporate OTP goals.
- Oversee MAB One OCC in the system-wide deployment of crew resources arising from flight schedule disruptions and roster adjustments to ensure optimal crew utilization.
- Coordinate with MAB One OCC on crew-related matters, including crew qualifications, compliance requirements, and on-time flight departure performance.
- Participate in Operations Review Meetings (ORM) and prepare and present management reports as required.
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable aviation regulations, company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Promote and implement best environmental practices in support of MAG’s environmental policies and sustainability initiatives.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager or immediate superior.
- Assume the responsibilities of the Executive, Flight Dispatch during periods of absence to ensure operational continuity.
- Perform all task assigned by the superior.
Qualifications - Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Aviation Management, or a related discipline
- 2 years working experience in related field
Areas of Experience- Experience in airline operations, particularly in Crew Control, Crew Scheduling, Operations Control Centre (OCC), or Flight Dispatch.
- Familiarity with crew rostering systems and real-time crew tracking tools.
- Working knowledge of aviation regulatory requirements (e.g., CAAM, ICAO, company OM, FTL limitations).
- Experience managing operational disruptions and irregular operations (IROPs).
- Understanding of On-Time Performance (OTP) monitoring and recovery strategies.
- Exposure to flight operations processes, including crew qualifications, licensing, and recency requirements.
