Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is currently seeking a Facilities Coordinator 3/4 in Clearfield, UT.

Responsibilities:

Coordinates the construction, installation or rearrangement of equipment and building facilities and/or equipment and machinery maintenance for assigned area. Maintains contact with and directs contractor representatives and assists in resolving discrepancies in design specifications. Verifies labor expended and materials used and inspects projects for conformance to engineering standards and codes, building techniques and safety practices. Estimates percent completion of projects and advises designated individuals of cost status. Will perform a combination of manual and clerical functions pertaining to shipping, receiving, picking, stocking and inventory control warehousing duties in support of maintaining accurate inventory levels of both stock and non-stock spare parts for the Maintenance group.  This individual will be responsible for initiating Purchase Orders related to vendor/contractor support, purchasing of major equipment items in conjunction with the purchasing department.  Responsible for the overall condition of the spare parts and supplies for the maintenance group.  Duties will also require the use of hand trucks, forklifts, scissor lifts and other material handling devices as part of the parts inventory duties.  Utilization of computers, laptops, scanners and various software applications to track and maintain data to ensure accurate information related to parts inventory in readily available at all times. 

Job Duties:

  • SpUR communications/updates of information regarding request progress, changes and issues
  • Maintain and support ASBU Facilities SpUR/ CCB process
  • Responsible for receiving incoming parts into the factory and contact point for incoming items
  • Responsible for pick up and distribution of incoming parts
  • Place materials in kits, identifies and transports kits to storage or point of use where applicable
  • Perform safe handling and processing of hazardous material(s) where applicable
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels at various locations throughout the factory
  • Maintain and manage bonded and non-bonded storage areas to ensure good organization
  • Ensuring all stock cabinets are clean, organized and maintained with the correct inventory levels of needed spare parts to support the operation of the equipment
  • Minor repairs, operating a forklift, hand truck, pallet jacks, scissor lifts as needed
  • Utilizing company vehicle pick up emergency supplies utilizing company vehicle
  • Must comply with company policies and procedures and be willing to work in a defined environment
  • Responsible in keeping all storage areas clean, organized and efficient
  • Incorporate 5S principles in regards to labeling, organizing, foot printing and sustaining the areas
  • Participate in reviewing standards and policies (as they relate to facilities) to ensure compliance
  • Assist in the evaluation of new equipment, processes, and facility upgrades to ensure compliance with government requirements
  • Performs handyman tasks and physical hands on work including minor repairs, installations, hanging pictures and moving furniture and equipment

Basic Qualifications (Level 3):

  • High School Diploma with 4 years of experience in production equipment operation, maintenance, installation, facility management, project management or similar
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret Clearance and Special Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable amount of time deemed by business needs

Basic Qualifications (Level 4):

  • High School Diploma with 6 years of experience in production equipment operation, maintenance, installation, facility management, project management or similar
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret Clearance and Special Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable amount of time deemed by business needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A working knowledge of general building, HVAC, life safety systems and electrical codes relating to facilities operations
  • Some experience in asset protection with an understanding of physical safeguards, hierarchy of operational zones and general security
  • Trade school knowledge
  • High attention to detail/ accuracy
  • Strong organizational abilities with ability to multi-task and adjust to changing priorities
Salary Range: $42,000 - $70,000
Salary Range 2: $50,500 - $84,100
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
