Job Title: Flammability Technician I
Job Type: Full Time; Contract
Location: Savannah, GA
Schedule: 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $28.75 per hour

Position Purpose:
Acquire accurate information pertinent for fabrication and Inspection of flammability test samples required to show proof of flammability for materials used in the aircraft during the completion interior installation.

Experience and Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience working on aircraft preferred.
Knowledge of FARs and ODA/FAA Conformity requirements desired.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:
Responsible for some Quality Control inspection pertaining to flammability issues for the ODA and Repair Station .
Responsible for some review of aircraft documentation .
Complete flammability request forms for the fabrication of test samples .
Fabricate flammability test samples as required .
Keeps accurate, neat and legible records of the work performed on aircraft .
Writes discrepancies and keeps track of all work order documents .
Completes turnover for the succeeding individual to assure continuity of process .

Additional Functions:
Assures completion of projects on assigned aircraft .
Completes turnover for the succeeding shift to assure continuing inspection responsibility .
Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience with aircraft cabinetry finish & paint applications strongly preferred.

Pay Details: $28.75 per hour
