Monitor and coordinate all aircraft ground handling activities to ensure safe, punctual and consistent performance in accordance with airBaltic Ground Ops manual and Riga airport procedures

Communicate effectively with all relevant airBaltic functions and external suppliers to ensure a safe working environment and achieve an on time departure

Control and oversee external suppliers for baggage handling, ground service equipment, cleaning, catering, fueling and other involved vendors to ensure smooth operations

Supervise aircraft loading compliance with loading plan and report final figures

Ensure that all rules and regulations are adhered concerning airside safety and all personnel working around aircraft are using safe working practice

Report any incidents, accidents or deviations during the aircraft ground handling process

Fluent Latvian and English languages

Good communication skills

Flexible to work on various shifts (day, evening, nights, weekends and holidays)

Good time and task management, ability to react quickly and efficiently in any given situation

Ability to work well under pressure to ensure the safe and efficient turnaround of aircraft

Previous experience within a turnaround coordinator/ground handling role at the airport (preferred but not essential)
