JOB PURPOSE
To support the HR Manager in providing expert professional advice and guidance to the relevant client area on the interpretation of HR policies and procedures; the management of complex employee relation cases and HR generalist best practice.
HR Policy and standards
> Provide expert advice on employment terms, HR policies, and legal requirements in the Netherlands to ensure compliance and consistency.
> Monitor and interpret Dutch labor laws and statutory changes, updating HR policies and advising management accordingly.
> Ensure all HR processes align with both local regulations and broader business priorities, regularly reviewing and updating line management tools and guidelines.
Employee Relations
> Advise and support managers on complex employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, performance, and absenteeism cases.
> Conduct thorough analysis of employee relations trends, identifying root causes and implementing proactive solutions.
> Deliver training and coaching to managers on people management best practices to enhance leadership capabilities.
> Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Dutch employment legislation and proactively share insights across the business.
Recruitment
> Support hiring managers in recruitment processes, ensuring compliance with Dutch employment practices.
> Provide guidance on workforce planning, onboarding, and succession planning.
Advice and Guidance
> Delivering proactive pragmatic support, advising line managers in the correct implementation of all the easyJet policies and practices, including the disciplinary and grievance policies where required
> Keep abreast of local legislative changes and issues which are pertinent to our operations in country so as to act as internal advisor. Use the above to ensure we apply pragmatic evaluation and solutions to emerging changes and ensure company documentation including the employee handbook is updated accordingly.
Operational HR Support
> Manage key employee lifecycle processes, including contract administration, onboarding, and offboarding.
> Oversee monthly payroll input, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local payroll regulations.
> Act as the primary HR contact for employees, addressing HR-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
> Continuously improve HR processes to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
