Position Summary

The HR Coordinator will support the HR department in various administrative and operational tasks with a focus on Talent Acquisition. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth HR processes and maintaining employee records. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, organized and possess strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

 

  • Assist in drafting and posting job descriptions on job boards and social media platforms
  • Conduct applicant screenings
  • Coordinate Interview schedules and communicate with candidates
  • Coordinate candidate background checks 
  • Prepare onboarding materials and conduct orientation sessions for new hires
  • Maintain and update job folders, employee files and databases
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies regarding employee documentation
  • Assist in the administration of HR policies and procedures
  • Act as a point of contact for recruiting inquiries
  • Track and report recruitment metrics to improve hiring process
  • Support the HR team in various functions
  • Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications

 

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or have U.S. Permanent Resident Status
  • Must hold a GED or High School Diploma
  • Relevant Work Experience: 0-2+ years of relevant experience in HR or administrative roles required Must be organized and able to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Must be able to multitask and effectively use time-management skills, with the ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
  • Professional attitude and appearance, with a focus on customer service.
  • Personal/ Soft skills: Must Demonstrate effective organizational and verbal/written English communication skills
