• Perform preventative maintenance on all HVAC equipment and components to manufactures recommendation (valves, motors, belts, bearings, filters and lubrication etc.).
• Learn basics of equipment management controls (Metasys, Siemens, TAC) to be able to start and stop equipment properly during preventive maintenance.
• Identify and repair any potential problems found on HVAC equipment during preventive maintenance and notify supervisor of any discrepancies.
• Requisitions and maintains stock of replacement parts used in repair of facilities equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders.
• Assist HVAC mechanics in the performance of routine maintenance and repairs to systems.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned by supervisor or management.

• Two years of verifiable related HVAC maintenance / troubleshooting experience or formal HVAC training certification from accredited institution.
• High School diploma or GED equivalency.
• Valid US Driver’s License.
• Ability to pass a National Agency background check.

Desired Qualifications:

• EPA Universal (Type I, II and III) CFC/HCFC Refrigerant Processing Certification or ability to obtain.
