As a valued member of our team specializing in the Public Safety sector, your primary objective revolves around leading an international (Finland & France) team of DevOps engineers and experts responsible for designing, building, and operating a next-gen continuous integration/continuous deployment pipeline to build, package, and deploy products. Your role will be instrumental in driving automation, efficiency, and best practices in software deployment lifecycle management.

Your specific tasks include:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.

• Lead and develop team members in accordance with Airbus&39; leadership values

• Encourage continuous learning and awareness of relevant IT trends among team members.

• Manage people-related processes, including recruiting, performance reviews, and compensation, with the guidance of HR.

• Oversee staffing, budget, quality, and timely delivery of output and cost for DevOps services.

• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate and enhance deployment workflows.

• Actively communicate and guide employees through change initiatives.

• Facilitate the onboarding of young talents, helping them grow into IT professionals.

• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards and regulations.

• Represent the team and promote the DevOps approach across the organization.

The Team

As part of the Test Environments & Deployments pipelines organization, our teams play a crucial role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and reliable CI/CD and test environments to the developer, validation, maintenance and customer projects teams.

• Has strong leadership skills – A candidate with experience managing and mentoring a DevOps team will thrive in this role. You should be able to inspire and guide engineers while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

• Is highly technical – The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Thinks strategically and innovates – This role is perfect for someone who can define and execute a long-term DevOps strategy, improving automation, efficiency, and reliability while staying ahead of industry trends.

• Is a problem-solver and decision-maker – Someone who enjoys tackling complex infrastructure challenges and making data-driven decisions will excel. The ability to handle incidents, optimize costs, and ensure security compliance is crucial.
