Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Manager, Quality Assurance, this position is responsible for conducting comprehensive Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality (HSEQ) audits across PHI Healths operations, ensuring compliance with company policies & procedures and government regulations. Professionally collaborating and coordinating with our Operations, Maintenance and Clinical teams, the Internal Evaluation Auditor will manage our Operational Areas Surveillance program, which involves developing, revising, and conducting HSEQ audits for all facets of PHI Healths operations. This role will also develop reporting and status tracking on all associated findings and corrective actions.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for conducting thorough, detailed and objective audits, which ensure that PHI Health departments and bases are performing work in accordance with company policies and government regulators.
  • Manage critical Operational Areas Surveillance Program, coordinate schedules and findings, update database and corrective actions. Ensure the effectiveness of the corrective actions and readdress the areas where non-conformances were not implemented or not effective.
  • Provide technical support assistance to bases to support compliance with company policies.
  • Provide routine quality assurance trends to ensure known gaps are clearly communicated and appropriately actioned.
  • Audits are conducted using established internal audit checklists and regulatory references. Completes audit checklists recording all findings, concerns and observations.
  • Remains informed of the current content and revisions to Company policies and procedures, federal regulations and other applicable regulatory materials which form the basis of the audit content.
  • Understand and provide visible support of PHIs core values.
  • Performs duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred, or a minimum of 5 years in a similar Air Medical Transportation role
  • FAA A&P license preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to prepare clear, concise, and accurate reports and quality assurance documentation.
  • Project management and problem-solving skills necessary
  • Industry Recognized Quality Assurance/Quality Auditor Training
  • This position is designated Safety Sensitive for purposes of the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act
