As an ISC Manufacturing Intern here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing operations and develop your guide skills. You will work closely with our ISC team to facilitate production activities, ensure quality standards are met, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This internship will provide you with valuable insights into the world of manufacturing and supply chain management. You will report directly to our ISC Manufacturing Supervisor, and you will work out of our designated manufacturing facility in Olathe, Kansas. This is a full-time internship position.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: - Learn and apply lean manufacturing ethics to optimize production processes - Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements - Assist in monitoring and analyzing production metrics to drive efficiency and productivity - Facilitate the implementation of quality control measures to ensure product quality - Participate in problem-solving activities to address production issues and minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities
Working 1:1 with a mentor, you will apply your current skills and learn to:
- Facilitate day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production scheduling, material handling, and equipment maintenance.
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing production metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Process improvements
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Participate in problem-solving activities to address production issues and minimize downtime.
- Facilitate the implementation of quality control measures to ensure product quality.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Be a US Person
- Have earned a High School Diploma from one of our partner school districts during the 2024-25 school year:
- Blue Valley Schools
- Olathe Public Schools
- Or through a school where you were a member of the Jobs for American Graduates (JAG-Kansas) program.
