Summary

Under general supervision, performs tasks to support TIMET&39;s Human Resources Department. The type of work will vary depending on the level of expertise of the incumbent, but it will include a variety of tasks from very basic to challenging. This is a temporary/internship position reserved for college/university level students with a desire for a career path in Human Resources.

Essential Functions

Support the extended HR Team in various tasks by providing an all-encompassing HR administrative support.

Highlighted responsibilities in the field of labor relations in a unionized environment. Participate in labor activities such as interpreting the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement (CBA), grievance activities and employee relations.

When necessary, support core processes such as onboarding, offboarding, exit interviews, and training for employees.

Maintenance of employees and company records in SAP and WORKDAY.

Ensure all employee issues/queries are dealt with effectively and efficiently.

Other duties as required.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors

Education and Experience

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university at the junior or senior level, seeking an undergraduate or graduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.

Must be a US Citizen or a US Permanent Resident.
