Northrop Grumman is seeking an Industrial Security Manager for the Secure Sensing Solutions (S3) Operating Unit based out of Annapolis Junction, MD. The candidate will be responsible for leadership and management of a team of security professionals at the Northrop Grumman facility in Annapolis Junction, MD and San Antonio, TX. They will direct activities that support SAP & SCI level programs and will provide guidance to assure compliance with applicable National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and other security requirements. As the Security leader, the candidate will be the primary security liaison between Northrop Grumman and the government customer. The Security Manager oversees all security activities and provides guidance to all personnel, to include supporting program managers in achieving key goals. The selected candidate must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment with program management, program personnel, cyber security personnel, external security professionals, and contract security personnel. The candidate will participate in business development activities and plan security support for future business. The candidate will be responsible for planning and executing a security labor and expense budget, working closely with leadership for any deviations. This position also includes performing as the Facility Security Officer (FSO) for the site, oversight of the San Antonio FSO, and Emergency Preparedness / Contingency Planning responsibilities.

The position reports directly to the Manager, Security Cyber and Information Solutions Business Unit.
Basic Qualifications:
Active Top Secret SCI security clearance with Polygraph.
8 Years of Industrial Security experience with Bachelors; or 6 Years of Industrial Security experience with Masters; an additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a Bachelors degree.
Leadership/Managerial Experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program, Intelligence Community Directives, and related training.
Experience and familiarity with U.S. Government NISS/DISS system.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong skills in team building.
Strong skills in educating and mentoring team members.
Demonstrated success in leading organization change and transformation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in managing Industrial Security programs.
Previous security management experience.
Ability to effectively engage with team members on task completion.
Ability to recognize opportunities and take independent action at resolving challenges.
Ability to collaborate effectively with security peers and program management team members.
Salary Range: $129,300 - $193,900
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
