Job Description

Thie incumbents will be responsible for organizing and conducting all aspects to dispense training for the Passenger Service Department

  • Provide practical theoretical training in a professional manner ensuring that all procedural requirements are well covered internally, as well as the requirements of government agencies and the airport authority.
  • Develop and keep all training material up to date (syllabus, exams, presentations, etc.)
  • Ensure to remain up to date with all ground services policies and procedures;
  • Conduct training on DCS, Amadeus and Altea;
  • Evaluate the employees performance and progress in class and with on-the-job training and shadow methods;
  • Maintain up-to-date assessments (exams) and practical training using computer programs
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience in airport operations
  • 2 year’s experience as a trainer or in any teaching-related field (an asset)
  • In-depth knowledge of Air Transat products and procedures
  • Airport/check-in experience (an asset)
  • Systems knowledge: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Altea DCS (CM), proficient in Microsoft Office, WorldTracer (an asset)
  • Good communicator.
  • Bilingual (French/English) written and spoken.
  • Professional and organizational skills.
  • Can work flexible hours (day, evening and occasionally on weekends)
