JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION SUMMARY:
Underthe direction of the Planning Supervisor, persons will be responsible for confirmingand pre-staging parts and/or materials that have been allocated in the Corrplussystem from an Engineering Bill of Materials list.
EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Identifying which DWGs need to be worked to release Pick Tickets to theMaterials team to pull 30 days prior to the technicians need by date.
Retrieving materials from the Stockroom once they have been spaned “Readyfor Pickup”.
Verifying Part Identifications and quantities.
Confirming parts and/or materials into the kits created by the Planners.
Accurately staging Kit materials on racks, carts or bins by aircraftproject and associated cost codes.
Distribute materials to designated locations observing the first KRS infirst KSR out practice.
Correct Receive/Delivery and/or Pick Ticket discrepancies in conjunctionwith the material clerks.
Communicating gaps with Team Leads and Project Supervisors including butnot limited to parts shortages and EBOM changes.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES,ETC:
High School Diploma or GED.
0-1 years prior experience in order picking or warehouse position.
Forklift experience preferred.
Ability to efficiently use a computer program, such as Corrplus, andapplications including but not limited to Microsoft Works.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILLITIES:
Ability to lift over 50lbs.
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment described here is representative ofthose required by an employee to perform the essential functions of this jobwith or without reasonable accommodations. The office building where thisposition works is a typical office environment with minimal exposure toexcessive noise or adverse environmental issues in the immediate vicinity ofthe workstation. The employee in this position will experience occasionaloutdoor exposure to heat, cold, and environmental elements when called upon tolocate personnel working inside or outside of a Hangar.
