Convair Café is situated in one of the working hangars of KF Aerospace. We offer a unique aircraft inspired dine-in experience serving high quality food and drinks to our onsite employees as well as external customers.

JOB OVERVIEW
We’re hiring a passionate and experienced Line Cook to lead the kitchen and support the café wherever needed. From making coffees and restocking to handling daily features. This candidate will be a team player, ready to jump in when needed and also help with events. This role replaces a key person who supported many behind-the-scenes tasks, so we’re looking for a dependable, capable person with strong kitchen and team skills.
JOB DUTIES
- Run clean and organized breakfast and lunch lines during peak hours
- Prep during slower hours and keep items stocked
- Execute features and online ordering updates accurately
- Help with basic equipment maintenance and restocking
- Make espresso drinks and assist with customer service when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Support seasonal events, menu updates, and café tasks as assigned
- Communicate effectively with the team and management
- Inventory management and ordering
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in a busy kitchen is required
- Comfortable taking on various tasks — kitchen, coffee, bussing, maintenance
- Fast, dependable, detail-focused, high standards for service
- Excels under pressure and can keep a calm demeanor
- Food Safe Level 1 required (or willing to obtain)
- Must be available for Saturdays during the summer
- Familiar with online ordering platforms, primarily GFS
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Understanding of recipe formulation and food costing
- Understanding basics of a POS in a café setting (or willing to learn on the job)
- Strong interpersonal skills
HOURS OF WORK
Convair Café is open Monday to Friday (Saturdays during the summer).This position is Full Time. During the summer, the shifts are 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Tuesday to Saturday and in the winter, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
