Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time.  Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers.  Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation.  Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines:  Reliability System Safety and Supportability

What You Will Do:
Life Cycle Engineering seeks a Logistician based out of Fort Cavazos (Killeen, TX).  In this role, you will be focused on supporting the AN/TPY-2 Radar Team, reporting directly to the Radar Lead at location and administratively to Section Manager.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Involvement with day-to-day operations of the Logistics Support Plan
  • Shipping, receiving inventory
  • Control of spares and tools
  • Maintaining calibration on test equipment
  • Handling hazardous material
  • Local procurement of consumables
  • Stocking assets with attention to package and handling instructions
  • Issuing parts to job orders through the Automated Logistics Control System (ALCS) (ALCS) and preparing them for delivery.
  • Packing and shipping material through commercial carriers and utilizing the DD1149 produced by ALCS
  • Oversight of processing of maintenance functions and configuration management utilizing ALCS associated with the assigned Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Radar System
  • Maintaining receipts of local purchase and filing expense reports in a timely manner

This unaccompanied position is in Israel as a rotational international assignment. Onboarding before deployment will be at Fort Cavazos, TX. 

Travel as required and possibly signing a year-long deployment assignment if needed with additional compensation.


Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of relevant Logistics or Manufacturing, Depot or Warehouse Operations experience
  • Experience working with internal or external stakeholders
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience using an Automated Logistics Control System (ALCS) or like application for supply and maintenance tracking.
  • Experience with logistics or system maintenance support of technical hardware and / or software in a military or civilian environment.
  • Understanding of the logistics process in providing field support.
  • Experience as a self-starter with excellent communication, organizational and investigative skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Employment is contingent upon meeting all medical requirements for overseas assignment including comprehensive post-offer medical examination.   

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
