SUMMARY:
Responsible for leading the planning and maintenance of equipment, machinery, building and other facilities of the assigned business unit.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop the facilities action plan.
- Control the total maintenance of facility.
- Maintain a preventative maintenance program including heating, air conditioning, maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment.
- Oversee projects completed by outside contractors.
- Coordinate and communicate build-out activity with employees, building management and contractors while maintaining a fully functioning office with minimum disruption.
- Track and process invoices and all other payment-related documents from architects, contracts and consultants.
- Interface with company executives, department heads, and technical support in analyzing, defining, and meeting the companys space needs.
- System administrator for AAR Corp Access Control System.
- Overseeing complete Security and Fire system.
- Maintain up to date records for all state, federal, and insurance semiannual and annual inspections.
- Work from verbal & written instructions, drawings, equipment manuals, complete and enter work order data in internal tracking system, read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Coordinate work schedules with contractors, manage and supervise internal labor as required to meet schedules and budgets.
- Organizes and addresses facilities work order tickets as received through the automated ticket process.
- Works closely with various levels of management, departments and employees.
- In collaboration with department management, plans, budgets and schedules facility modification, including computation of cost estimates and actual cost factors such as materials, labor and outside contractors.
