Job Description:
Position Responsibilities:
• Analysis and Interpretation:
• Analyze, comprehend, and interpret various Engineering Drawings, Models, Bills of Materials, Technical
Specifications, Quality Documents, Framework, and departmental procedures as needed.

Model and Drawing Support:
• Provide MCAD operational models and 2D drawings for manufacturing process planning sequences.
• Offer process liaison support for manufacturing operations when MCAD models and 2D drawings are
available.

Tooling and Fixture Definition:
• Develop, create, and maintain tooling/fixture definitions for manufacturing operations across all media
types, including MCAD and manual legacy designs.

CAM Programs and Instructions:
Create and maintain CAM programs and operator instructions for Numerical Controlled (NC) equipment.

Loft and Digital Tooling:
Develop and maintain Loft MCAD models, flat patterns, and associated digital tooling programs.

Knowledge and Skills:
• Possess working knowledge of NC Programming, Loft, Engineering, Tool Design, Manufacturing, and
Planning processes and procedures.
• Apply concepts related to GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and aerospace tolerances.

Producibility and Records Management:
• Support producibility assessments as requested.
• Maintain records and schedules of assigned work.

Cost, Schedule, and Quality:
• Meet established company cost control standards, schedules, and quality requirements to ensure market
competitiveness.

Technical Assistance:
• Provide technical support to procurement and suppliers as determined by management.

Communication and Training:
• Utilize strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal and external customers.
• Apply extensive aircraft manufacturing knowledge and be prepared to train, direct, instruct, mentor, and
validate Production Engineering work.

Training and Competency:
• Attend training and complete competency-based testing as required to stay current with technological
advancements.

Qualifications:
• Four (4) years of college education or eight (8) years of experience in the aircraft industry.

Skills:
• Demonstrated capability to perform essential functions related to the application of GD&T and aerospace
tolerances.
