The role supports the revenue management team by implementing best practices in forecasting, processes, systems and tools.
The Revenue System Management team is responsible for developing and implementing strategies and techniques to optimize the companys overall revenue.
Function
The Operations Research Developer is responsible for the technical analysis and implementation of state-of-the-art optimization algorithms, report development and data visualization tools to support the RMS teams initiatives and strategies for revenue management and related business activities.
Responsibilities
- Apply best practices in the algorithmic code development and implementation lifecycle.
- Participate in the design, implementation and maintenance of all code implemented to solve RMS team initiatives.
- Make recommendations to improve the design and quality of optimization algorithms and their components.
- Critically review formulated requirements (algorithms, data, reports) to identify shortcomings and/or inconsistencies. Use your OR experience and expertise to make suggestions and recommendations.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and other team members to solve problems.
