Your ImpactAs a PC Network Technician, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation of computer systems, networks, and IT infrastructure. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance systems, supporting both on-site and off-network environments. Your expertise in Windows administration, network connectivity, and compliance activities will help maintain high performance and security in an aerospace setting.
What You’ll DoProvide technical support for PCs, including installation, troubleshooting, servicing, and repair.
Connect clients, servers, and terminals to existing data networks.
Assist InfoSec with DFARS and CMMC compliance responsibilities.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and remediate vulnerabilities in off-network and lab environments.
Support server applications and Windows systems management.
Perform root cause analysis for complex IT issues and provide long-term solutions.
Work with software vendors to support third-party applications.
Create detailed technical documentation and network diagrams.
Provide advanced hardware and software support, going beyond standard Tier 1/2 helpdesk support.
Monitor ticket queues to ensure service levels are met.
Support manufacturing IT hardware and software in a high-demand environment.
Independently troubleshoot and escalate issues when necessary.
Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining professionalism in challenging situations.
What You BringRequired QualificationsExperience supporting end-user devices, Windows OS, hardware, software, printers, and peripherals in an enterprise environment with more than 500 devices.
Strong troubleshooting abilities in Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite.
Understanding of networking principles, including the OSI model.
Experience configuring and managing user and computer accounts in Active Directory.
Ability to lift equipment up to 40 pounds.
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize mission-critical tasks.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred QualificationsAssociate’s degree with 3+ years of IT experience or High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+.
Experience using ServiceNow in an enterprise environment.
Knowledge of VMware VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure).
Cross-platform IT support experience (Windows, Linux, Unix, OSX, Solaris).
Familiarity with OT/ICS segregation principles and enterprise-level storage concepts.
Experience troubleshooting engineering applications and making IT hardware/software recommendations.

Pay Details: $27.29 to $48.00 per hour
