Airline Common Functions, within Airline Operations, plays a central role in SAS Operating Model as we provide common services and support to our three internal operations as well as to SAS’ External Partners. We serve in eight areas managed through the following functions: Publishing, Uniforms, Onboard Services, Ships Library, Aeromedical, Emergency Response, Safety Coordination and Corporate Security. 
We are short in staff, and we need to hire a new Publishing Coordinator.
As a Publishing Coordinator you will have the responsibility to, in close cooperation with responsible stakeholders, publish manuals & documents in a correct, and timely manner. You will also administer the SAS Document Management System (DMS) user access rights, and act as system expert, and super-user of the DMS. 
The Publishing Coordinator will be reporting to the Manager Publishing.

Objectives and main tasks of your role

•    Act as super-user for the DMS in relation to all type of issues from the users (manual owners & end-users).
•    Publish manuals & documents within set deadlines, and according to established standards and principles for controlled documentation. 
•    Administer the user access rights to the different publishing platforms to ensure that manuals & documents are available to the relevant end user.
•    Act as “SAS Publishing & DMS system expert”, covering different publishing techniques, formats & tools, as well as a deep functional understanding of the DMS.
•    Act as an expert and give support in the following areas:
o    Intranet structure, layout, templates, and content
o    Information mapping or other relevant human factors aspects of presenting information
o    Layout, publishing and distribution of publications and information
•    Ensure that SAS Group Operations publications are printed and distributed when so required.

Required skills and qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
•    Communication and presentation skills (verbal/writing), and solid skills in the English language (written and spoken) as well as in the understanding of all Scandinavian languages.
•    Knowledgeable in techniques & methods for mapping and structuring of information.
•    Social skills to secure excellent relations with internal & external stakeholders.
•    Experience from working within Flight Operations
•    Ability to manage and prioritize decisions during situations of stress.   
•    SharePoint & SAS Intranet layout design.
•    Experience in editing and publishing different document types, such as .docx, .fm, .sgml, .pdf, .xml, .svg, .png, .mov etc.
•    Experienced in working with different design tools, such as InDesign, FrameMaker, and Photoshop.
