The Boeing Company is looking for a Part-Time Software Technical Analyst to join the Flight Simulation Labs Tools Team located in Berkeley, MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.
We are looking for engineers who want challenging and unique opportunities to be involved in testing, development, and analysis of simulation software across a variety of products and platforms.
The position will be expected to work between 20-39 hours weekly depending on availability. Pay will be prorated depending on actual hours worked.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Position Responsibilities:
Supports the integration of software components and hardware-software integration by executing basic test procedures
Uses software tools to generate software products (e.g., software builds, requirement specifications, design documents) and solve problems
Constructs, documents, and executes basic tests and documents results to verify software performance and function. Collects and inputs process data to support basic software metrics
Gathers and analyzes data to support assessment of software performance/function
Works on an agile team in order to accomplish team goals
Works under general supervision

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:
This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Ability to obtain Secret U.S. Security Clearance Post-Start.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
Experience with Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Excellent verbal and written communication
Academic experience with software development
Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment while supporting multiple concurrent activities
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Working towards a degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Associate degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
Experience working with software version control tools such as Git
Experience writing software requirements
Knowledge of basic networking principles
