PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Pipe Fabrication Associate to join our team and support fabrication and material handling operations at one of North America’s largest distributors of plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, PVF, waterworks, and industrial products.
This role is a hands‑on Pipe Fabrication Associate position, focused on supporting pipe cutting, threading, and material handling operations in a shop and yard environment.
Location: Groveport, OH
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM (OT available upon need)
Key Responsibilities
Move loose or bundled pipe within the shop and yard (½” to 10”)
Assemble pipe orders (single sticks or bundles) and maintain organized work areas
Follow all safety procedures for fabricating, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping pipe
Operate powered industrial equipment in compliance with OSHA guidelines and company procedures
Set up, operate, and maintain machines used for pipe fabrication
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
6–8 months recent machinery experience (band saws, automatic welding machines, pipe machinery)
Mechanical background
Ability to read tape measures & gauges
Ability to read and follow work orders
Comfortable in hot environments
Good communication & teamwork skills
Basic math & computer skills

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
