Job overview and responsibilities

This role will be responsible for supervising and ensuring the product owner team is efficient at defining features, epics, and stories into detailed functional and non-functional requirements and acceptance criteria. Must ensure that the IT product teams have all of the necessary details to deliver high-quality products while creating scalable, maintainable, and reusable big data solutions.

• Leads initiatives from a product delivery standpoint by helping facilitate, explore, and decide upon solution alternatives to business problems
• Responsible for the supervising the prioritization and planning efforts for the product owner team spanning across mutiple portfolios
• Partner with key players in the organization to weigh in various solution alternatives by performing cost/benefit analyses for an MVP based approach that delivers maximum business value
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and document the business case, scope, product backlog, technical debt and product delivery roadmap
• Manage dependencies and set priorities across multiple domains to maintain alignment to the Product release vision and roadmap
• Create user stories, non-functional requirements and follow agile best practices
• Perform data analysis, workflow analysis, create current/future state data flow diagrams and help the team assess the business impact of any changes or enhancements
• Responsible for the supervising tasks related to development/production readiness, product demo and user acceptance
• Should be comfortable with individual contribution as well as lead a small team of Product Owners / Business Data Analysts by being a mentor to junior team members

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.

Unless subject to a collective bargaining agreement in the country to which an employee is being transferred; the employee retains their original date of employment and company seniority in the new country. Upon transfer, the employee is removed from payroll and benefits in former country and appropriately placed in the salary range and payroll / benefits systems of the new country.

Human Resources will assist with the terms and conditions of employment in light of labor agreements, collective agreements, country work rules and labor laws. In the new country, the employee is reinstated using the same employee id, date of employment and company seniority dates.
