Summary of Role

Raytheon UK are hiring Production Associates, you will work within an electronics manufacturing facility at our Livingston site.

Two shifts are available:

• Day shift is 37 hours – 07:30 – 17:18 Mon - Wed, 07:30 – 07:06 Thu
• Night shift is 36.5 hours – 22:00 – 07:00 Mon – Wed, 21:30 – 07:00 Thu

Training:

We are offering full training to ensure you can be successful within the role, your first few weeks will be part of a training programme to provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills.

Main Duties:

To perform production related tasks required in daily operations within one of the manufacturing business areas.

Tasks may include:

• Soldering and inspection to ANSI-J STD/IPC610
• Mechanical and wiring assembly
• Kit preparation
• Bonding and coating.
• Testing of assemblies and sub-assemblies using specialised equipment

Candidate Requirements:

 Essential:

• Previous experience in a similar environment / role
• Good manual dexterity
• Basic PC skills
• Quality focused, a high emphasis on the importance of quality to the customer
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Required to pass basic eye test (including colour blindness)

 Desirable:

• Previous electronics and mechanical assembly experience
• Good communication skills
• Organisational skills
