Position Summary
The Trainer will train and qualify plant employees on job tasks, safety, quality, and standard work to ensure consistent, safe, and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Train new and current employees in assigned jobs and equipment
- Demonstrate proper work methods and standard work
- Support safety, quality, and compliance training
- Verify employee understanding and job qualification
- Assist with cross-training and skill development
- Follow and reinforce plant procedures and work instructions
- Help update training materials and job instructions
- Work with supervisors to identify training needs
- Support continuous improvement and Lean activities
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required
- 1-5 years of manufacturing or production experience
- Good communication and coaching skills
- Ability to work safely on the shop floor
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, training systems)
