The Program Work Pack Integrator is responsible for coordinating, tracking, and integrating engineering and production work packages across aerospace programs to ensure timely delivery, technical compliance, and cost control. This role acts as the central point of contact between cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and program management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and integrate Work Packages (WPs) in support of aerospace programs, ensuring alignment with program milestones and customer requirements.
- Work closely with Work Package Owners (WPOs) to define scope, deliverables, and schedules.
- Monitor and report on work package progress, risks, and performance using Earned Value Management (EVM) or equivalent tools.
- Ensure coordination across engineering disciplines (structural, systems, electrical, avionics, etc.) to maintain technical integrity and alignment with configuration control.
- Support change management by assessing the impact of engineering changes on active work packages and integrating changes appropriately.
- Act as liaison between design engineering, manufacturing engineering, and operations to ensure seamless flow of work instructions and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to track part availability and resolve shortages affecting work package execution.
- Support integrated master scheduling, risk and opportunity management, and project reviews (IPTs, PMRs, CDRs, etc.).
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance integration, reporting, and control of work packages.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Program Management, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in aerospace program integration, work package management, or related technical coordination.
- Familiarity with aerospace development life cycles (development, production, sustainment).
- Strong understanding of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Jira).
- Working knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Teamcenter, Windchill).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Familiarity with AS9100 standards and aerospace regulatory compliance.
- Experience in large-scale aerospace programs (commercial, defense, or space).
- PMI or equivalent project management certification.
