Schedule: 9/80 (every other Friday off!)
Pay Rate: $28.92 – $36.09/hour
Shape the Future of Aerospace – One Inspection at a TimePDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Quality Inspector to support the cutting-edge Dice Sort Visual Production Lab. In this pivotal role, you’ll help uphold the uncompromising quality that defines aerospace innovation. Your sharp eyes and precision will help ensure the success of missions that span from Earth’s surface to the farthest reaches of space.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
What You’ll DoInspect Critical Components: Conduct detailed visual inspections of III-V semiconductor wafers (GaN, GaAs, InP) under high-powered microscopes (50x–1000x).
Ensure Part Integrity: Examine covers and getters before module sealing and inspect substrates at the piece-part level prior to microelectronic assembly.
Collaborate with Experts: Work alongside quality engineers, technicians, and foundry specialists to deliver flawless, flight-grade microelectronics.
Document and Communicate: Use systems like Microsoft Office, Solumina, and possibly Eyelit to track quality control metrics and ensure traceability.
What You’ll NeedBasic QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience in semiconductor inspection
Skilled in optical microscopy (50x–1000x)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems
Preferred QualificationsMicroelectronics/wafer fab inspection experience
Familiarity with Solumina and SAP
Eyelit MES experience (a plus, not required)

Pay Details: $28.92 to $36.09 per hour
