Overview

The role involves designing and developing Android APIs, documentation, and applications for airline clients while collaborating with SDK developers to create industry-leading solutions. Responsibilities include writing and debugging Android APIs using Java and Kotlin, developing automated test scripts, and enhancing existing features.


Responsibilities

  • Write, modify, and debug Android APIs using Java and Kotlin.
  • Develop automated test scripts, continuous builds, and deployments.
  • Develop new features, enhance existing features, and implement bug fixes.
  • Provide technical sessions and collaborate with cross-functional teams and airline clients.
  • Create detailed API documentation and conduct peer reviews with actionable feedback.

Objectives of this Role:

  • Design and develop Android APIs, Documentation and applications for various airline clients.
  • Collaborate with SDK developers to design end-to-end, industry-leading systems and solutions.
  • Rapidly prototype new ideas, concepts, and designs.
  • Work with agile methodologies, adhering to best practices while pursuing learning opportunities.
  • Research and develop new mobile technologies to enhance APIs.


Qualifications

  • 0 to 3 years of experience with Java and Kotlin.
  • Understanding of code quality practices, including code reviews, static code analysis (Lint, SonarQube), and adherence to coding standards.
  • Knowledge in Android SDK and Android development tools (Android Studio, Gradle, etc.).
  • Knowledge in debugging and optimizing code.
  • Knowledge with version control systems, especially Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge in agile development environments.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge in creating technical documentation.
