POSITION SUMMARY:
Coordinate and help Manage the QMS system by working with individual groups to maintain PFEMA’s, AQAP/PPAP, Corrective Actions, Supplier Evaluations and internal/accreditation audits.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinate and improve the QMS to help ensure that all customer requirements are achieved
• Conducts internal and accreditation audits against customer specification requirements for conformance to contract specifications, quality objectives, warranty provisions and technical specifications (including existing engineering standards).
• Reviews and evaluates the suppliers’ performance on a regular basis and recommends appropriate supplier improvement actions in accordance with the manufacturer’s Quality Management system
• Conveys quality policy to suppliers, including details of expected supplier performance levels, through written communications and through internal presentations
• Provides training as needed; this may include in-house training or external supplier training sessions.
• Coordinate the PFEMA by working with individual groups to ensure it is up to date and keep the team focused on projects for the higher RPN actions
• Coordinate the APQP/PPAP by working with individual groups to ensure all elements are met. In addition, work with the Customer to obtain approval


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business Administration with 4 to 6 years of experience in Quality field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with people at multiple levels, persuading individuals and groups of the need for quality improvements in both products and services being delivered to external customers, direct reports and suppliers
Expertise in AS9100, ISO 9001 & AS13100: Quality Management System Requirements
• Good understanding of MS Office Suite: MS Word, MS Excel, Calibration systems, document management systems and PFEMA systems.
• Experience working in fast-paced environment
