As a member of the IT leadership team the Senior Director of IT ERP Product Management is responsible for setting the strategy, roadmaps and vision of ERP systems across the enterprise and manages the company strategic ERP systems including configuration and design as part of the ERP rollouts.  Leads a team of ERP techno-functional experts. Incorporates product management and Agile practices to accelerate value realization.  Partners with the Software Engineering and Project Management Office teams to ensure new capabilities are delivered aligned with the product strategy and ERP systems are implemented across the enterprise.

This role reports to the Senior Vice President of Information Technology/Chief Information Officer.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage staff by recruiting, training, coaching and mentoring employees, setting clear expectations, and driving accountability.  
  • Identify problematic areas and implement timely and cost effective strategic solutions.
  • Administer the annual budget and control costs.
  • Remain current and knowledgeable with state of the art products and recommend necessary changes. 
  • Research and evaluate new technologies to be used as enhancements or upgrades. 
  • Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives.
  • Demonstrate initiative and be an active problem-solver.
  • Drive a Lean culture/mindset.  Require standard work for all processes including leadership accountabilities and communication.
  • Develop an agile team and collaborate with other leaders to optimize scheduling to meet commitments.
  • Demonstrate effective conflict management and skillfully handle difficult interactions.

What skills you will require:   

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related technical discipline desired or equivalent experience. 
  • 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience. 
  • Experience managing ERP platforms such as Oracle e-Business Suite.
  • Thorough knowledge of agile methodologies, systems analysis, programming techniques and design methods, data processing principles, theories, concepts and terminology.
  • Exceptional planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills.
  • International travel up to 15 of the time.

Preferred characteristics:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or related discipline.
  • Experience in global industrial enterprises.
