Description:The candidate selected will provide support to the Space Information Security Office (ISO) Cyber Governance team.

As a member of the Space ISO team, this individual will leverage broad understanding of IT and cyber domains to improve the security posture of various elements of Space and determine the adequacy of current controls. The individual will support validation efforts to ensure risks have been mitigated or residual risks are being adequately managed as part of the overall risk register.

Position additionally responsible for, but not limited to the following:
• Support day-to-day information system security operations including data and software validations.
• Ensure the development, documentation, and presentation of security education, awareness, and training activities for users and others, as appropriate.
• Ensure system security measures comply with applicable government policies and accurately assess the impact of modifications and vulnerabilities for each system.
• Establishing effective working relationships with the other components of CIS, Enterprise IT, Business Area (BA) IT leadership, BA Information Security Officer (ISOs) teams, and customer
• Apply cyber security standards, directives, guidance, and policies
• Conduct reviews and technical inspections to identify and mitigate potential security weaknesses and Cyber ensure that all security features applied to a system are implemented and functional.

*** This role is scoped as a hybrid role, with an expected onsite component at one of Lockheed Martins major facilities ***
Basic Qualifications:
- Scripting or programming experience (Python,C)
Metrics and reporting
- Intermediate Experience with API development, testing, and troubleshooting
- Experience with Windows or Linux/Unix Server.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Excel, Power Point Ability to research and analyze problems
- Ability to provide hands-on support to customers
- Demonstrated effective oral and written communicator to both management and technical staff
- Proven ability to interpret security and information protection policies into executable requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in security engineering principles involving application security, security testing, computer security and other areas of Information Assurance.
- Understanding of common enterprise services as it intersects with large scale corporate networks.
- Ability to prioritize and work multiple efforts simultaneously
- US Citizenship is required for this role
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of Splunk, Nessus, Qualys, Tableau, Alteryx
- Knowledge of Gitlab and Bash
- Familiar with Service Central ITSM ticketing system
- Risk assessments, remediation tracking, and validations
- Understanding of Network Concepts
- Effective analytical and critical thinking skills – proven problem solving and follow-thru in high-pressure situations
- Working knowledge of industry risk management control frameworks and best practices
- Familiarity with DFARS 252.204-7012 as it relates to IT security, Security+ or CISSP certification
- Working knowledge of LM scanning and vulnerability remediation, nGRC (formerly CyRIS) and exception processes.
- CISSP, CISA, Security + or other relevant security certification
- Knowledge of NIST, SP 800 series and FIPS or LM security policies
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies, especially Amazon Web Services (AWS) and with emphasis on transition of physical security architectures to cloud based, software defined network constructs.
- Understanding of OWASP Top 10 Web Application Security Risks and their countermeasures
- Understanding of the SANS Top 25 Most Dangerous Software Errors and their countermeasures

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $76,500 - $134,895. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as spanet and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
