Tasks
The Station Agent Lufthansa Group Port Harcourt is responsible for:
- Take appropriate measures in case of volume-, weight- and trim-critical flights
- Transmit the necessary messages and data
- Carry out post flight duties incl. preparation of mandatory documentation and statistics
- Ensure necessary communication with relevant local and central departments
- Ensure safe and efficient turnaround operation, with focus on the aircraft handling activities below the wing based on the respective airline manuals
- Ensure the aircraft is loaded in accordance with the corresponding loading instruction
- Provide information and assistance in connection with all customer concerns during normal operation and irregularities
- Ensure that all measures are taken to guarantee a smooth operational procedure in accordance with rules and regulations
* Participate in other duties as assigned
Requirements
The ideal Station Agent Lufthansa Group Port Harcourt should meet the following requirements:
- High school degree
- 1-3 years of working experience desirable
- Fluent knowledge of English, both spoken and written
- Driving license
- PC skills
- Diligent and systematic approach to work
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Desire to give excellent service
- Sales skills, confident manner
- Ability to work under pressure
- Team player
- Well-groomed appearance
- Knowledge of German desirable
- Lifting of luggage up to 23kg/70lb
- Must be willing to work shifts
- Most possess a legal work permit in Nigeria
