Description:The Lockheed Martin Space Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team is seeking an entry Strategic Planning Associate to be part of a team in Courtland, AL producing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity!

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support production operations.
The role will require strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

In this exciting role you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Support NGI Production Leadership team with production execution, staffing, and preparation for production and test

• Develop and maintain the Long Range Staffing Plan and implement workforce planning strategies.

• Manage IMS schedule tasks and milestones using Agile tools like JIRA.

• Create and deliver status charts to key stakeholders using Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint or Word)

• Serve as program interface and provide support to teams and stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to obtain & maintain Secret Clearance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
Desired Skills:
• Production/Assembly experience
• Agile Principles using JIRA
• Planning/Scheduling experience in a production environment
• Understanding of workforce planning and staffing
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
